Account & Data Deletion

Learn how to delete your account in BizBuzz, what information is removed, and how to contact us for assistance.

This page explains how to delete your account in the BizBuzz app, which data will be removed, retention timelines, and alternative ways to reach our support team.

How to delete your account in the app

  1. Tap the three horizontal lines icon in the top left corner to open the settings menu.
  2. Navigate to the “My Account” section.
  3. Scroll down to find the large red “Delete Account” button.
  4. Tap “Delete Account” and confirm the action in the pop-up dialog.
  5. After confirmation, the irreversible deletion process for your account and associated data begins.

Important: This action cannot be undone. Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be restored.

What data will be deleted

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize data associated with your profile and app usage, including:

  • Profile data: name, surname, job title, company, avatar/photo, bio/description.
  • Contact details and card links: email, phone, messengers, website, social media links, and custom fields or links you added.
  • Card materials: logos, banners, images, colors/themes, saved design presets.
  • Connections and shared contacts: outgoing requests/subscriptions, saved contacts of other users created by you.
  • Usage data: saved settings, drafts, local notes linked to your account.
  • Subscriptions: unlinking your subscription from your account (Apple/Google/RevenueCat). Payment provider records remain subject to their policies.

What may be retained temporarily

  • Backups: due to backup cycles, full removal from all backups may take up to 90 days.
  • Legal and financial records: transaction data, invoices, and tax reports retained as required by law.
  • Security logs: limited data may be retained to prevent fraud and ensure system integrity.

Data you have shared

Once your account is deleted, your public card and dynamic links will no longer be available. If your data was previously exported or saved by other users outside of BizBuzz (e.g., in their address book), we cannot remove those external copies. Any access through our service (links/QR codes) is revoked.

Deletion timelines

  • Initiation: immediately after confirmation.
  • Account deactivation: within 24 hours.
  • Removal from live systems: up to 30 days.
  • Removal from backups: up to 90 days due to backup schedules.

Cancellation and reactivation

Deletion is permanent. Once the process starts, it cannot be reversed. Any new registration will create a brand new account without access to previous data.

Alternative ways to request deletion

If you do not have access to the app, you can request deletion by contacting our support team with the email linked to your account (or other verification details): bizbuzz.cards.info@gmail.com.
